Centenary Festival – We are 100!

Well what can we say? The sky was blue, the sun shone all day. It was great to welcome people from across the Diocese to share in our celebrations.

There were so many highlights that we can’t possibly mention them all.  But a big thank you for coming along it was great to see you all.  God is good!

Ask the Archbishop!

Young adults from across the diocese put Archbishop Justin through his paces. The event was led by our Acceler8 20s-30s team.

Questions varied from…

“Is the church still relevant today? to
“What was the last film you watched?”
And “What would you say to someone who has lost all hope?”

No pressure then!

Inspirational students at North Warwickshire & South Leicestershire College

Students, Staff and Governors welcomed Archbishop Justin to their campus in Nuneaton.  He was met by the college nursery children and entertained by a student choir.  He was given the chance to try some floristry techniques and was given a demonstration of hairdressing  and a well earned massage by some adult students.

The event was a real chance for the students to showcase their talents, and to demonstrate the skills they are developing. They were inspirational

Down on the farm

A relaxing evening as Archbishop Justin led our worship in a barn. He spoke on the passage about the Prodigal Son. Music  was heard from Paul Bell.

It was great to be joined by Farming Community Network,  a voluntary organisation and charity that supports farmers and families within the farming community through difficult times.

An opportunity of great fellowship as local churches met at Highfield Farm in Frankton this evening.
